MORE than 200 dancers from Melbourne’s west and Ballarat will stage the ultimate ‘dance-off’ at the new Hamer Hall opening celebrations.
The free ‘flashmob’-style event at the grand opening at the Arts Centre from 2-4pm on Saturday and Sunday will cap off six months of hip-hop, jazz and contemporary dance workshops.
It has been choreographed by eMotion dance assistants including street-stylist Demilition B-Girl, Jungle City Massive co-founder Cat Sweeney and hip-hop expert John Gray.
The dancers are being encouraged to spice up their routine with their own cultural flavours.
