FOOTSCRAY is finding life difficult in its promoted season of Hockey Victoria men’s state league 1.
The Bulldogs slumped to a 10th consecutive defeat, 5-2 to Doncaster, on Saturday.
Altona arrested its own rough patch in an entertaining 3-3 draw with Mentone.
In women’s state league 1, Altona was pipped 2-1 by Mentone and Footscray failed to trouble the scorers in a 3-0 loss to Doncaster.
