VAFA: Chelsea Roffey special guest of Williamstown CYMS

Chelsea Roffey, the AFL’s most successful female goal umpire, will be a special pre-game luncheon guest at Williamstown CYMS’s big clash with Old Geelong in the Victorian Amateur Football Association at Fearon Reserve on Saturday.

The luncheon is part of Umpire Appreciation Day activities, which aim to recognise the contribution that umpires make to Australia’s game and celebrate the increasing participation rate of women in football.

Also in attendance will be AFL Victoria chief executive Grant Williams, VAFA president Bruno Conti, AFL Umpires Association chief executive Peter Howe, and Victorian Women’s Football League president Debbie Lee.
