VFL: Youngsters shine as Seagulls find early form

WILLIAMSTOWN is on the right path in the Victorian Football League preseason.

The Seagulls made it two wins from two against Northern Blues at the Whitten Oval on Friday night.

A feature of the Seagulls’ eight-point victory was the impact of the youngsters in the tough, swirling conditions, including three goals to key forward Tom Hill and important touches from Damien Bugeja and Ben Christoudoulou.

The last preseason hit-out is against North Ballarat on the road on Sunday.
