Williamstown’s Emma Clark (pictured) is raising funds for needy schoolchildren and families separated by war by taking part in the second annual Sunday Age City2Sea fun run. The 21-year-old law student is organiser of a 15-member Red Cross Young Humanitarians team. “A lot of people are a lot more vulnerable than me and so whatever I can do to help them . . . that’s the reason I volunteer,” Ms Clark said. “I don’t have this big aspiration to fix poverty in Africa or anything like that, but if I can help a couple of people along the way, I think that’s really important as well.” The 14-kilometre run, from the CBD to St Kilda, is on November 11.
