Williamstown: Warrant executed at bikie clubhouse

POLICE this morning raided the premises of an outlaw motorcycle gang in Williamstown over alleged liquor licensing breaches.

Detectives from the Echo Taskforce swooped on a property in Techno Park Drive about 11am and were still searching the premises this afternoon.

A 42-year-old Tullamarine man is assisting police with their inquiries.

Detective Superintendent Doug Fryer said the search was part of an ongoing investigation into liquor licensing breaches at motorcycle clubhouses.

“We expect local football clubs to abide by licensing laws and bikie clubhouses shouldn’t be treated any different.”
