Braybrook man faces court over bottle shop robbery

A BRAYBROOK man appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday charged over a bottle shop robbery across the road from Altona North police station on Sunday.

A man confronted an attendant at the Thirsty Camel bottle shop at Millers Inn about 5pm, indicating he had a weapon and demanding cash.

A short time later, police apprehended a 21-year-old man nearby in Millers Road.

He was remanded in custody.
