Yarraville endured a stop-start innings to finish with a below-par 141 against Oakleigh in the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association east-west group.
Six of the top eight Eagles batsmen were removed for single figures with only Matthew Love (28) and Tim McRae (17) offering resistance.
The Eagles fought back late through tailenders Josh Raymer (47no) and Ryan Cox (24).
Oakleigh was cruising at 0-31 at stumps.
