The unheralded work of Victoria’s 700,000 family carers was celebrated at Maribyrnong’s Coulson Gardens on Sunday through the Carers Victoria ‘Walk to Care’.
The four-kilometre, sun-soaked walk along the Maribyrnong River and fun family day featured food, live entertainment and children’s activities, such as a jumping castle and petting zoo.
Walk to Care ambassador and Victorian of the Year Moira Kelly led the walk with comedian, broadcaster and The Project co-host Charlie Pickering.
