A group of boutique businesses in Yarraville’s West Village is taking part in late-night trading until 8pm every Thursday in the lead-up to Christmas. Shops include Mosey, Invite me, Chalk, Du Fleur, Second Blessing, Pure Passion, Techville, Green Collect, Liquid and Utopia. They have organised a Mr Burger food truck for one evening and are offering a door prize for one shopper. 97 Anderson Street, Yarraville.

Every Sunday is “Family Sunday and Hobsons Bay Day” at Melbourne Ballpark in Laverton, where the Aces showcase their baseball prowess as the best of the club’s Australian and international players flex their muscles. There’s also the Aces’ staple Family Sunday activities – in a costume-day theme – including mid-inning activities for children and the opportunity for fans to run on to the field post-match.
