Footscray Lions launch monthly Retro Market

Footscray Lions Club is going back to the future, launching a new monthly Retro Market in Footscray.

The market will be open on Irving Street, at Footscray station, from 8am to 1.30pm on the third Sunday of every month, starting October 18.

Co-organiser Maxine Elliott says the markets will feature everything from retro goods to up-cycled, recycled, remade and new goods.

“The purpose of the market is to bring an exciting eclectic vibe to Footscray station, making it a pleasurable and safe experience as well as providing an opportunity for all ages to share fun, food, music, art, trash and treasure.”

Interested parties are welcome to apply for casual and regular stalls.

For stall inquiries, email footscraylions@gmail.com.
