Tom Liberatore made a successful return to the playing field in the Western Bulldogs intra-club practice match held during the club’s family day at Whitten Oval on Saturday.

Liberatore was one of the best players on the ground in his first game back after 12 months on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Others to impress were Jack Macrae, Jake Stringer, Nathan Hrovat, rookie Josh Dunkley and four-goal forward Jack Redpath.

The Bulldogs first NAB Challenge game will be against GWS Giants in Sydney on February 25.
