A unique provenance: 87 Pasco Street, Williamstown, 3016

Set on Pasco Street’s leafy horse-and-cart wide streetscape is this quintessential Williamstown address.

White and single-fronted, with ornate lacework and a timber deck, this perfect little Victorian’s provenance can be traced back to when it was built 127 years ago.

87 Pasco Street, Williamstown, 3016

Built in 1890 by McClure HB, a local builder, the property was later sold to Arthur Haslam.

The property changed hands three times before the Gunn family purchased it in 1917, and in those hands it stayed until the current vendor bought it in 1990.

The property has been renovated over the years to include hydronic heating in all rooms, creating comfortable, relaxed living spaces with potential for further enhancement.

Entry is to a long, wide hall featuring restored original hardwood timber floorboards that welcomes you in with high ceilings, large skirting boards and ornate cornicing.

Three carpeted bedrooms are off from the hall, two with fireplaces.

The period-style bathroom with shower and separate bath has been meticulously maintained. A full European laundry installed here is accessed via concertina doors.

Cathedral-style ceilings in the main living space are fitted with two fans for keeping the room cool during the summer months.

The kitchen, renovated in the ’90s, has a double-door pantry and has been well maintained.

Cafe-style doors open to recently renovated outdoor spaces that include a deep undercover deck with a glass surround.

The landscaping is low-maintenance and neat.

A timber garbage store is a nice addition.

This piece of Williamstown history, surrounded by beautiful homes, is a 10-minute walk from Williamstown central and all that it offers, as well as the bayside delights of Nelson Place.

With the extra wide street offering plenty of carparking options, this gem is tucked away just seconds from Williamstown Beach station.
