Williamstown High School is a multi-campus, dynamic school with two unique, yet complementary campuses.
The seaside Bayview Campus allows for a successful transition from primary school. Catering for Year 7 to 9, it is built on environmentally sustainable principles and is located near the Jawbone Marine Sanctuary.
Students are engaged by a diverse range of challenging and inclusive activities, which carry through to the Pasco Campus, teaching Years 10 to 12 in a location immersed in Williamstown’s rich history.
Principal Gino Catalano welcomes anyone to come and see for themselves why Williamstown High School is so special.
“Our students are on an extraordinary journey. They arrive excitedly on the first day of school and leave, proud and prepared for the challenges that lie ahead, on their last,” he said.
Students are offered a wide range of electives as well as VCE, VET and VCE VM certificates, allowing them to prepare for success in whichever path they pursue.
Emphasising an outstanding learning environment, Williamstown High School strives to inspire and nurture students and build a supportive learning environment.
With the opportunity to fine tune their passions, students are supported through academic excellence, sport, visual and performing arts, debating, leadership, environmental issues and a strong instrumental music program.
The school’s core values influence the pursuit of a dynamic learning culture, promoting integrity, innovation and the individual including:
*Excellence and creativity in achievements and ambitions.
* Integrity and honesty in our actions and relationships.
* Diversity in our curriculum, in each other and in our community.
* Strong and open communication between the school and our homes, and between our teachers, students and our families.
* A commitment to social justice and a passion to protect and improve our environment and our community.
Taking pride in outstanding academic results and the development of the whole person, Williamstown High School is the school of choice for many families both within and beyond the surrounding suburbs.
