More than 30 local and interstate dealers will present their wares at the 24th annual Antiques and Collectables Fair at Williamstown town hall next month.
The fair is a major fundraiser for community- based projects supported by the Rotary Club of Hoppers Crossing.
Fair co-ordinator Trevor Jago (pictured) said the club was excited to sponsor the fair at the historic town hall, which has undergone four years of major renovation and restoration works.
“The opportunity has caught the imagination of many in the industry who will attend the event for the first time, ensuring that there’ll be lots of new and interesting items for sale,” Mr Jago said.
“Many of the dealers will also buy items of interest, so bring them along. If it’s too big [to bring], a photo can also be useful.”
Mr Jago said the fair, from July 15-17, was a good opportunity for people to spend time in Williamstown, taking in its historic buildings and landmarks.
Opening hours are 5pm-8pm on July 15, 10am-5pm on July 16, and 10am-4pm on July 17. Admission is $10 for adults, and it’s free for children.
