A colourful celebration of Ethiopian culture will make Footscray the place to be on September 5.
The Ethiopian New Year’s Puagme Festival, one of Australia’s biggest African community events, will run in Nicholson Street Mall from 11am until 6pm.
Supported by Maribyrnong council, the festival will include music, dancing, storytelling, coffee ceremonies and a parade featuring traditional and contemporary Ethiopian fashion.
