Artist Brett Ashby’s workshops for young people will focus on stencil and paste-up creations, culminating in public art pieces at Yarraville Skate Park. The free workshops for people aged 12-25 years old will be held at Phoenix Youth Centre, 72 Buckley Street 4.30-5.30pm Thursdays in August, followed by a paint day from 2pm Saturday, August 29.

Musical moments

Caroline Chisholm Catholic College students and teachers will present Disney musical Mulan Jr next week. Performances at 7pm, August 20 and 21, at 204 Churchill Avenue, Braybrook.

Feel good

Highpoint is hosting its first Feel Good Festival from August 20-23. The event includes workshops and craft, an adult size ball pit, a free flower delivery service and Instagram pods offering the chance to win prizes.
