Participants in the third annual Sons of the West men’s health program have wrapped up another season of learning about healthier living.
Run over 12 locations across six different council areas including Maribyrnong and Hobsons Bay, the program kicked off at the start of June and wraps up tonight with a graduation ceremony for almost 500 participants.
The free program aims to improve men’s mental and physical health through workshops, presentations, events and experiences.
The program tackles health issues responsible for Maribyrnong males having the lowest life expectancy in urban Victoria at 76.5 years.
The program includes plenty of incentives such as match-day experiences and chances to win signed Western Bulldogs merchandise.
