Author talk

Ramona Koval will give a free author’s talk about her book, Bloodhound: Searching for my Father, at Williamstown library, 6.30pm Tuesday, April 19. A child of Holocaust survivors, Koval grew up suspecting the man who raised her was not her biological father … so embarked on a quest.

 

Car boot sale

Hobsons Bay Men’s Shed will host a car boot sale, 10am-3pm, on April 17 at 280 Queen Street, Altona (old EPA building). Sites, $10, public free.

 

GFC book launch

Altona author Tina Murray will launch her book, Design Your Life, 6-7.30pm on April 14 in the Gallery Space, upstairs at Williamstown library. The book reflects on her approach to job hunting after being made redundant during the global financial crisis.
