Wine and chocolate is a union made in heaven and, of course, there’s a Melbourne festival to celebrate this decadent marriage of yum.

The Williamstown Wine and Chocolate Festival is a celebration pairing the best chockie delights with wines that will have devotees of both dribbling with desire.

Set in the historic port’s Seaworks precinct with Melbourne’s skyline as a backdrop, the festival lets you indulge in exquisite wines paired with delicious chocolates.

It brings together about 50 artisanal food and beverage suppliers, including a rising star of the Heathcote wine region, Domaine Asmara, and Melbourne’s leading signature coffee and cocktail specialist, Liquid Infusion.

There are chocolate creations by Belgian-born master chef Filip Tibos, and such chocolate makers as Cuvee Chocolate, Mamor Chocolates and Shocolate.

The festival will be held at Seaworks, 82 Nelson Place, Williamstown, from 11am-6pm on April 30. Tickets, from $20 pre-sale, may be purchased online at wineandchocolatefest.com.au
