My Business: Rivervue satisfies the travel bug

One of the many exciting prospects that present once life has sailed past child-raising and hard-working careers is the freedom to travel. A significant decision can also arise about whether to move to a retirement village.

Rivervue Retirement Community in Avondale Heights is smoothing the way in both these regards by staging a terrific Travel Expo within the beautiful village surroundings.

Attendees are also invited to take a look around, stroll through Rivervue’s two hectares of River Gardens on the Maribyrnong River, and check out the ultra-contemporary premises.

Jennifer Clancy, General Manager of TIGCorp, the developer and manager of Rivervue, says the Travel Expo has plenty in store for visitors with thousands of dollars of prizes.

“Rivervue is set to turn it on, with 19 travel exhibitors offering their expertise – and piling on the temptation,” Jennifer says. “Visitors can grab a barista-made coffee and chat to representatives from the big names in the travel industry, and there’ll be lots of travel discounts on offer.

“As well, any one of our visitors could win wonderful travel prizes. People with itchy feet and looking for ideas and/or help will get a great deal from the expo. And village staff will be around to answer any questions about Rivervue, too.”

The Travel Expo is on Thursday, September 26, 11am-1pm.
