It was a win-win for young and old when children from Altona North Child Care Centre visited residents at Florence Aged Care Services in Newport last Tuesday.
Children walked to the Mason Street centre, where they entertained residents such as Jenny Ralston.
The kids also performed songs including You Are My Sunshine, and presented gifts of hand-made cards and artwork.
The visits are likely to become a regular occurrence, with the children inviting residents to visit them at the childcare centre for morning tea.
