Williams Landing man’s nose broken in road rage

Police are on the hunt for a man who allegedly broke a Williams Landing man’s nose during a road rage incident on Thursday.

Sergeant Shannon Thompson from the Werribee Crime Investigation Unit said police were investigating the attack that took place at 5.45am near the Westside Hotel in Laverton.

Police believe that a man of Pacific Islander appearance swerved his concreter truck, swiping the driver side mirror of his victim’s car.

He then allegedly pulled up next to the victim and, driving on the wrong side of the road, attempted to run him off the road.

A further altercation then took place where the unknown man broke the Williams Landing man’s nose.

The 31-year-old victim, who was on his way back home from work, drove himself to the Werribee Mercy  Hospital, where he received three stitches to his nose.

The man police would like to talk to is believed to be between 35 and 45 years-old.
