Williamstown assault: Public help sought to nab offenders

Police have released images of two men and two women they want to speak to after two men were assaulted outside a Williamstown restaurant on May 4.

Detectives say one man headbutted and punched a man in the face outside a Nelson Place venue about 1am.

He then punched a second man in the face.

The assailant was last seen walking towards Ferguson Street with another man and two women.

The first man police want to speak to is described as Caucasian, about 185 centimetres tall, with a slim build and bald head. He was wearing a light purple top and dark pants.

The second man is Caucasian, about 180 centimetres tall, with a medium build and was wearing blue jeans and a short-sleeved white shirt with dark horizontal stripes.

The two women were Caucasian, about 170 centimetres tall, with medium builds, short blonde hair and wore dark pants and light-coloured jackets.
