Altona’s Chris Schlaghecke captured this photo of a lightning strike over Truganina swamp during Monday’s spectacular thunderstorm which started about 2am.
He described it as one of the best lightning shows he had seen in his life.
“I wasn’t scared whilst taking the shots. However, as I realised that the storm was getting closer, I packed up my camera and watched the rest of the show from the relative safety of my garage.”
