Apple founder Steve Jobs’ techniques revealed in Laverton

Techniques used by Apple founder Steve Jobs will be covered at a free public speaking event in Laverton on Thursday.

Organiser Jacqueline Bignell says the event, to be hosted by the Aero Speakers Toastmasters Club, will feature one of Australia’s leading advocate speakers, Keir Wells.

“As an IT writer, journalist and editor for over 25 years, he followed Jobs’ career,” Ms Bignell said.

“Now, as someone who speaks around Australia about mental illness awareness and acceptance, he utilises many of Jobs’ techniques in his own presentations.

“The presentations made by Jobs are recognised as instrumental in having made Apple one of the most successful companies in history. Whether you’re a CEO, sales manager or small business owner, those same techniques can be readily employed to present with purpose, power and passion.”

The event is at Laverton Community Hub, 95-105 Railway Avenue, Laverton.
