$400k Porsche recovered after Williamstown burglary

Police have recovered a Porsche 911 allegedly stolen from a burglary in Williamstown.

It’s alleged the vehicle, with an estimated value of $400,000, was stolen from the Hannan Street property on December 11.

Detectives were able to track the vehicle to a hotel car park in Docklands where it was recovered on December 13.

Police also believe two Rolex watches, three Chanel handbags, two Celine handbags, a Bulgari ring, Hermes bracelet and clothing were also stolen.

A 34-year-old Templestowe man was arrested in Docklands on December 13.

He has been charged with burglary, theft, theft of motor vehicle, unlicensed driving, commit indictable offence whilst on bail, possess drug of dependence, possess controlled weapons and deal with proceeds of crime.

He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on December 14.
