One man’s Christmas spirit feeds dozens

Christmas has come early this year for clients of Wesley Footscray Outreach.

About 60 clients at risk of or experiencing homelessness in the Maribyrnong area were served Christmas lunch last week, thanks in no small part to the generosity of volunteer Cyril Hennequin.

Every year, Mr Hennequin donates $1000 for the food and brings about 15 volunteers from his business to decorate the hall, serve the food and clean up afterwards.

Wesley Footscray Outreach provides community support for people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including shower and laundry facilities.
