A chance to have your say on active transport in Maribyrnong

Maribrynong council are looking for locals to join its Active Transport Advisory Committee.

The Committee will help council plan the future of pedestrian and cycle infrastructure in the municipality, and will allow council to work closely with the people who will be affected by these changes.

Self-nominations are now open for six new members to be part of the Advisory Committee over a two-year period.

Council are seeking members of the public who are interested in contributing to active transport direction, road safety, and the impacts on the health and wellbeing of the community in general.

Membership is voluntary and involves six meetings each year.

Those interested should make a submission before Sunday May 15 via yourcityyourvoice.com.au/active-transport.
