First Choice Allied Health’s upgraded Footscray facilities will be on show this weekend.

The event on Saturday, December 4, is open to the public.

The renovated First Choice Clinic is in Barkly Street, and will include 11 therapy rooms, a dedicated gym area, and a purpose designed sensory room and a calming room.

First Choice Allied Health is a registered NDIS provider and the only Vietnamese provider for therapy services.

First Choice Allied Health founder and director Mai Pham emigrated to Australia from Vietnam in 2011. She said First Choice focuses on an all-inclusive approach to healthcare.

“[That] approach which means we work with participants and their support network, to ensure our participants have full access to the services they need, while empowering them to make

positive health choices in a safe and supportive space,” she said.

“Creating and then growing First Choice hasn’t always been a smooth road. There have been many challenges, however I’ve always come back to my beliefs of truthfulness, compassion and forbearance. This has helped me build life-long relationships with both my team and our clients.”
