An Altona North gym is among three local tier two exposure sites added in the past week as the state recorded two new COVID-19 cases overnight.

A case attended Body Fit Training at 18 Bennet Drive on Wednesday, July 28 between 5.20am and 7am.

Victoria’s two new local cases are linked to the current outbreak and have been isolating during their infectious period.

Woolworths at Borrack Square in Altona North was an exposure site on Saturday, July 24 from 5.15-6.30pm.

The 7-Eleven on the corner of Williamstown and Somerville roads at Yarraville was an exposure site on Sunday, July 24 from 7.05am-7.50am.

Australia Post at Newport remains on the list as a tier 2 site for Tuesday, July 20 from 12.20-1pm.

The health advice for a tier two site is to get tested urgently and isolate until a negative result is received.

People should continue to monitor for symptoms and get tested again if symptoms appear.
