A second Hobsons Bay school campus has been shut down due to COVID-19.

Students from Emmanuel College’s St Paul’s campus in Altona North have been advised to stay home during the school holidays after a student tested positive for COVID-19.

Students from the school’s Notre Dame campus in Point Cook who attended classes at Altona North have also been told to remain at home while contact tracing occurs.

In a letter to parents, Emmanuel College principal Christopher Stock wrote: “They must limit movements to home-based activities and not attend public places”.

The Altona North campus was closed on Thursday for deep cleaning.

Queen of Peace Parish Primary School in Altona Meadows also remains closed after a year 6 student, who last attended school on June 18, tested positive.
