Armed Crime Squad detectives have appealed for any information concerning an armed robbery at a post office in Braybrook earlier this year.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said detectives have released CCTV footage and images of a lone man, who allegedly entered the Churchill Avenue premises about 1.33pm on Monday, February 14.

“Once inside, the man approached the front counter, before producing the knife and pointing it towards the staff member,” the spokesperson said.

“He then made his way behind the counter where he forced the staff member to open the cash register, before grabbing a large quantity of cash and fleeing the premises on foot.

“The member of staff was not physically injured during the incident.”

The spokesperson said the man was perceived to be Asian in appearance, with a thin build and about 170 centimetres tall.

“He was wearing a surgical mask, a black/gold hat, a black Nike jumper with white stripes, baggy blue pants and black and white runners.”
