The annual Hobsons Bay Rotary Altona Art Show came and went for another year, which President Therese McKenney said was a great success.
“We had some beautiful artworks on display from people of all backgrounds and ages,” she said.
More than 320 entries were put on display by Therese and her team. 153 of those pieces were on physical display at the exhibition at the Altona RSL, while 257 which are now being virtually displayed online.
The physical show ran from Friday, October 6, until Sunday, October 8.
For those who missed out, the virtual show will be on display until Sunday, October 15.
Therese said she was very pleased with the 16 pieces which were sold across the weekend.
“We had over 100 people come and view the show, it was non stop which was so great because we give that back what we made into the community.
“Therefore, we can continue with the projects that we have earmarked for this year.”
