City of Maribyrnong residents can apply now for the First Nations Creators Program.
Council is inviting professional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists based in Melbourne’s West to apply for $10,000 of funding and project support, to create a new work in the City of Maribyrnong in 2022.
The once-off amount of $10,000 can be used towards the costs of new work presented or exhibited in Maribyrnong, including: artist fees, mentor fees, access costs such as interpreting and child care, materials, equipment hire etc.
Expressions of interest close November 28 2021 and applicants will be notified in December.
