Auctions back in Altona

Manheim's auction service will return to their Altona facility on Wednesday, June 7.

Manheim, one of Australia’s largest providers of automotive auction services has announced the return of physical auctions to its Altona facility.

Manheim, Inc is an automobile auction company and the world’s largest wholesale auto auction, based on trade volume with 145 auctions located around the world.

Commencing Wednesday, June 7, the weekly in-person auctions offer an action-packed experience where the general public and dealers alike can place bids on a wide range of pre-owned vehicles at wholesale prices.

Customers can inspect vehicles on the day, as well as visiting the Altona site Monday to Friday (9am to 4pm) for vehicle inspections before each weekly auction.

The auction is at  4 Gordon Luck Avenue, Altona North, visitors can enter via gate 2.

Regular Wednesday auctions will also continue to be broadcast live on SIMULCAST, meaning you can bid online from anywhere or come onsite and bid in person.

Manheim’s physical drive-through auctions are re-opening after they moved to online-only auctions during COVID.

Prior to COVID Manheim’s physical auctions were attended by thousands of people every week, creating a dynamic and vibrant marketplace for the sale of hundreds of used vehicles.
