Braybrook caravan theft investigated

Footscray police are appealing for information after a $70,000 caravan was stolen in Braybrook during April.

Investigators have been told the Heritage Spaceland caravan was being stored at a property on Ashley Street when a Hino truck, complete with crane, tray and ramp, drove onto the premises at about 4am on April 4.

The caravan was then hooked up to the truck and driven off the property.

It had been used by its owner until his recent death and contained personal belongings which are of importance to his remaining family.

Investigators have released CCTV footage and images of the caravan in the hope someone can provide information on its whereabouts.

Anyone with information or footage, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at: www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
