Bulldogs fans are ready to growl

Elwyn Davies of Footscray put up this banner and the motto of Footscray Football Club in Bunbury Street Bridge a couple of weeks into season. “I wanted us to remember that while I am a member of Western Bulldogs, I wanted us to remember where we came from,” he said. “I’m hoping to attach a big cup to this next week … but I’m not going to jinx it by making one just yet. The club has a long proud history and is strongly linked to community - the players have lifted spirits in a difficult time. Cede Nullis! Yield to None!"
