Capturing Footscray’s heart and soul

Entries are now open for Victoria University’s 2022 Picturing Footscray Photography Prize, with a $3000 first prize up for grabs for the photo which best captures Footscray’s changing culture and landscape.

Prizes will include a $3000 first prize, a $1000 second prize, a $500 third prize, a $500 student prize and a $500 people’s choice award.

Now in its seventh year, this year’s exhibition will mark the return of a physical exhibition for the prize following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Entries will close at noon on Wednesday, September 28, ahead of the exhibition launch and prize announcements on Thursday, October 13 from 6pm.

The exhibition will run at the Footscray Connectivity Centre from Thursday, October 13 until Friday, November 11.
