The Christmas spirit was alive at well at FBA Care’s Christmas lunch, with food, smiles and fun in full supply.

Held on Friday, December 2 at the Tottenham-based NDIS-approved disability service provider, clients and staff celebrated the achievements of the year.

FBA Care support co-ordinator Liliana Alp said the provider serviced about 100 clients.

“The lunch was just a way to reconnect with the community,” she said.

Ms Alp said a number of the clients came from a variety of areas across the western suburbs and a variety of cultural backgrounds, including Burmese, Vietnamese and Arabic.

“There’s not a lot of Buremese support in the west,” she said.

“A lot of them face challenges.”

Ms Alp said the service provider had hired Burmese people to target their assistance to those clients.

Services on offer include assisting with daily personal activities such as personal care and hygiene and recruitment assistance.
