•On census night there were 37,146 private dwellings, each with an average of 2.6 people and 1.7 cars per household.
•The median weekly household income was $1567 and the median monthly mortgage repayment was $1900. Renters, who made up 29 per cent, paid a median of $330 per week.
•Children aged 0-14 years made up 18.4 per cent of the population and people aged 65 and over made up 14.8 per cent of the population.
•Arabic was the most common language other than English spoken (3.4 per cent), followed by Italian, Greek, Vietnamese and Mandarin.

•Maribyrnong’s population of 82,288 is made up of 50.3 per cent males and 49.7 per cent females, with a median age of 33. Families with children had an average of 1.7 children.
•There were 35,697 private dwellings with an average of 2.5 people and 1.4 cars per household.
•The median weekly household income was $1551 and the median monthly mortgage repayment was $2000. Renters, who made up 29.5 per cent, paid a median of $330 per week.
•Children aged 0-14 years made up 16 per cent of the population and people aged 65 and over made up 9.7 per cent of the population.
•Vietnamese was the most common language other than English spoken (11.9 per cent), followed by Mandarin, Cantonese, Greek and Italian.
