Child survives West Footscray car roll crash

A young child travelling in a car child restraint was one of three occupants lucky to escape injury when a car rolled in a residential West Footscray street on Saturday afternoon.

Police and emergency services were called to Alma Road following reports of a car roll over about 4.55pm.

Three occupants of the car, including a child in a child restraint seat, were uninjured in the roll over. 

Police will investigate the cause of the crash.
