Coles Yarraville on Williamstown Road has been identified as a tier two COVID-19 exposure site.
A Coles spokesperson said a person confirmed to have coronavirus visited the store between 3-3.30pm on Sunday, May 23.
“We have been advised the risk to customers and team members is low, however we have temporarily closed the store to carry out a deep clean,” the spokesperson said.
“In accordance with advice from the Victorian Department of Health, all customers who were at the store during this time are asked to seek a COVID-19 test immediately and isolate until they receive a negative result.
“We thank our customers for their patience; our team is working hard to reopen the store as soon as possible.”
It comes as metropolitan Melbourne experiences the first day of a seven-day “circuit breaker” lockdown.
