Newport Fiddle and Folk Club beginner play-along sessions

The Newport Folk and Fiddle Group Beginner Play Along group offers a great way for you and your family to connect to music. If you are an absolute beginner or have decided to pick up that dusty or unused instrument or have some experience and want to try a new instrument in a safe, casual and welcoming environment, why not come down and have some fun, share a cuppa, bring the kids and maybe even learn something new. Vintage motoring

The Hobsons Bay Men’s Shed Motoring Group’s next Club Run is to Queenscliff on Sunday, October 30. Everything is in full swing for the club’s Annual Classic Car and Motorbike Show on Sunday, November 20 at Apex Park in Altona. Walking group

The Altona Meadows & Newport Heart Foundation Walking Group is a local community of men and women committed to walking and socialising together for about 60 minutes. Cherry Lake Market

Altona Lions Club Cherry Lake Market is held on the first Sunday of the month. Set between Millers Road and the stunning Cherry Lake in Altona, this market has something for everyone. The market hosts more than 60 stalls selling plants, bric-a-brac, handcrafts, hot jam donuts, tools, clothing and much more. Cobber Club provides exercises suitable for seniors, including chair exercises.
