Dig in to help out on National Tree Day

Residents of all ages are invited to roll up their sleeves this Sunday as part of National Tree Day.

Maribyrnong council is looking for volunteers to help plant 1000 native trees and shrubs from 10am-noon at Cranwell Park in Braybrook.

Gloves and tools will be provided, along with a free barbecue, wildlife show and face-painting for children.
