Hobsons Bay children are encouraged to keep their eyes peeled for all of the Easter Bunny’s lost eggs across three different townships.

Running until Monday, April 17, Altona, Altona Meadows and Williamstown each have eight Easter eggs ready to be found in the windows of local businesses as part of the Hobsons Bay Easter Scavenger Hunts.

Families can collect their game card from the Altona, Altona Meadows or Williamstown libraries and follow the clues available on the Storytowns podcast app or the Experience Hobsons Bay website.

Find all the eggs and submit your game card for a chance to win one of three $50 prize hampers.

Hobsons Bay mayor Tony Briffa said Easter egg hunts are a fun tradition for people of all ages to enjoy.

“Kids and families love them, and this competition takes them to a fun new level while exploring our local area,” she said.

“Local businesses are the lifeblood of our community and this is a great way to get more people visiting them over the school holiday period, while having a bit of fun at the same time.

“We are committed to supporting our local business community and this is a fantastic initiative that will encourage locals and visitors to check out the quality business precincts we have in Altona, Altona Meadows and Williamstown.”
