Always Live End of the Line will celebrate all things community with the next free, family-friendly festival on Saturday, December 9.
Supported by Metro Trains and Hobsons Bay council, the event will feature live performances from Alex Lahey, Eliott, Meghna and Philly and food and drinks will be provided by community vendors.
As the name suggests, the destination is at the end of the Williamstown train line at Commonwealth Reserve, Nelson Place, Williamstown.
Performing for the first time in the west, local artist Elliott said she is excited about her debut.
“This is my first festival of the season which is really nice, it is going to be a great lineup, a lovely day and plenty of good music and good vibes,” she said.
“I love this area so I am really keen to get the band together and drive over.”
Elliot’s band mates, drummer Soren and guitarist Johnson, will join her in performin indie, alternative pop music.
Elliot said she performed in Sydney several months ago when someone from Always Live encouraged her to get involved.
“I am super excited to get on stage with so many other amazing acts.”
Metro executive director corporate affairs Clare Abbott said, “Travelling by train takes the stress out of travel. Sit back and relax and discover the fun that awaits you at the end of the line”.
The event is part of Always Live 2023, a 17-day state-wide celebration of contemporary live music supported by the state government through Visit Victoria.
