Family and police search for missing Yarraville man

UPDATE: Missing Yarraville man Bryan Matty has been found safe and well on Monday night.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate the missing 83-year-old, last seen at a property in Stephen Street just after 1pm on Sunday.

Police and family members have concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition and his disappearance is out of character.

Bryan is described as being bald with a pure white beard, thin build and unsteady on his feet and shuffles to walk.

Sergeant Cameron Scott said he was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, blue cardigan, khaki pants and runners, was carrying a bag and yellow radio.

Bryan’s family and police are actively searching for Bryan in the Yarraville area.

Investigators have released an image of Bryan in the hope someone can provide information on his current whereabouts.

Anyone with information on Bryan’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Footscray Police Station on 8398 9800.
