Festive fete in Williamstown

St Stephens Uniting Church Williamstown will be transforming into a Christmas wonderland over two days.

As part of the church’s inaugural Christmas fair, the church will be a hive of activity on Friday, December 2 from 3.30pm to 7pm and Saturday, December 3 from 9am to 2pm.

Church volunteer and event co-organiser Iris Whitehurst said there will be a range of goods on offer, including outdoor plants, home-made gifts and other handcrafts.

“We’ve had wonderful donations,” she said.

“The hall is used by many community groups, so funds raised will be used to maintain the hall.”

Hot food, cold drinks, tea and coffee will also be on offer throughout the two days, with a gold coin donation entry fee.

Door prizes will also be up for grabs for all attendees.
