Final concept released for Altona Safe Boat Harbour upgrade

The Altona Safe Boat Harbour upgrade now has a final concept plan following a community feedback process.

The boat ramp facility located on Altona Road, Seaholme currently has parking available for 105 vehicles with trailers, public toilets, capacity to shelter 70 to 100 boats and a shaded fish cleaning area.

The concept plan will see the inclusion of additional features such as 32 extra car-trailer unit (CTU) spaces, longer spaces for large CTU’s, five extra car spaces, extra traffic and parking signage, rain gardens & tree canopy and fish cleaning area equipped with saltwater.

Better Boating Victoria will now enter a design process based on the concept plan.
